Gosh, this semester went by fast. To think that the place I now call home is the same college campus that was foreign to me only four months ago is absolutely crazy. I am so proud to call my college my home.
I remember being scared out of my mind about coming here and living on my own. I didn't know how I was going to fit in, or even get to my classes. And yet, I have had the time of my life this semester, meeting some awesome people and learning how to be independent. I don't doubt that some of the friendships I have made will last far beyond college.
Finals are just about over (hallelujah) and so is the semester. In a few days, I will be leaving my new home and returning to an old one. I realize now how much I am going to miss this place and all the people in it. But spring semester is on its way, so it's only goodbye for now. Thanks for a great year so far; I look forward to the rest of it. May it be full of double the all nighters, five times the coffee, ten times the laughs, and twenty times the memories! xoxo Jess.
