Finally the rain has died down (for now at least), so I was able to get some shots with my brand new DSLR camera, which I'm absolutely in love with. Whether you see photography as a hobby or a profession, getting your first DSLR camera is a definite rite of passage. For that very reason, I was excited to take the jump.
It takes time to learn the ropes of a DSLR camera, and I know I have much more to learn. But that's okay! Photography is the perfect outlet for experimentation. I'm looking forward to trying new angles and techniques... there are so many possibilities!
Another thing that I've realized about photography is that it's a passion that only grows, and you have to allow your choice of camera to grow along with it. The step up to a DSLR camera can open up countless opportunities (including great new photography on The Little Things!)
