That's right, yesterday was the very first day of spring (finallyyy)! It's been a cold winter and my sandals + sundresses are calling to me. There's something about the first time you step into your springy clothes... maybe it has to do with the fact that you have just shed about 5 pounds of clothing largely consisting of wool and screaming of winter. Nevertheless, spring has sprung!
You would not believe how fast I whipped out my camera when I saw the first blooms of spring (obviously I couldn't resist!) One of my favorite things about taking shots outdoors during the spring and summer time is the fun you can have with sunbursts. In the first photo of this post I caught one, and let me tell you, it was like seeing an old friend after all these months of winter gray skies. I am thinking about posting sometime soon about how to photograph sunbursts, so keep an eye out for that!
As you can see, I kinda love sunny photos... I mean they look so much happier right? Okay, I'm done gushing about photography... for now :)
Quality songwriting time with my guitar is also improved 110% when I have a nice and bright window to look out of. Hope you are feeling the spring spirit (and not just allergies!) I know I am. Happy spring everybody! And now a quote from Robin Williams...
